Happy (mid) November

I've been so inspired this week.  Finally getting back to normal life - not being on bed rest, finishing my last day ever of beauty school, being exposed to many great job opportunities... I feel like everything is falling into place.  I was never one to just let things be, but I guess I've learned to do so, considering the month of November came and whacked me upside the head.

Here's some inspiration.

Elle Fanning

Stop it.  Seriously?  How gorgeous is this little woman?!  I'm obsessed with Elle Fanning, and yes I know, she is only 14 (!!!) but I love her to death.

Photog-blog

So, thanks to my recent obsession with Kelli Murray's blog and an inspiring post about photography, I have decided to get more acquainted with my camera.  I got a Nikon D3000 when I graduated hair school just over a year ago, and haven't taken it off Automatic mode since.  Kelli's post about her tips and tricks - super amazing!  I fully took advantage, and now I will never switch off Manual mode - Kelli, you saved my photography life!  Here's some fun from last night with Mike...

Facebook Shmacebook

I'm sure I'm not the only one at this point, but I am quite frankly over Facebook.  I don't update much personally, unless it's a video of my niece singing along to Yo Gabba Gabba, or a photo of her with stickers all over her face.  I swore I'd never be that Mom one day to post terrifying 3D images of my uterus, or my kid naked in a bathtub, but sadly I have fallen into that stereotype... only, it's my niece.  Otherwise, I mainly use the app on my iPhone to scroll through endless crap about the happenings of my former high school and college buddies - most of whom I haven't spoken to since 2009.  I want to start focusing more energy on my hair page, and I need to step my Facebook game up!  How do you all keep your professional pages fresh, new, and fun?  Help a girl out and comment with some suggestions!
